My Unconventional Lover: Seeing A Different World

Chapter 259

What’s annoying about it? Well, usually it wouldn’t bother me too much -other than it being troublesome for taking my time. However, this was a special case where it was under a special circumstance as well.

Just say, you put lots of CCTV in the resort, like..in every corner, while all the people in the resort had just taken aphrodisiac.

However, I really didn’t have any other choices. Since I had turned off my feelings, I wouldn’t feel aroused. But, there was no way my brain could erase that view after I saw it once.

Just like how their every moves and voices travelled through my senses, I could also see the creatures around them which were feeding on their negative energy greedily. With this amount of lust, it was just a matter of time before a new lust devil would be born.

Then, let’s clean up!

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. My mind and fingers controlled the mist in the resort and started attacking those creatures silently. After eradicating those evil creatures, I knocked down those people one by one and extracted the unnecessary negative energy around them as well as the memory of what happened. It required lots of energy to do the physical labor of several men and at the same time cleaning their souls. By the time I finished the clean up, I felt utterly exhausted.

The mist gradually cleared up and the gloomy aura covering the whole resort disappeared. I could feel the soothing energy coming from deep within the mountain, which was probably the reason why the owner of the resort built this magnificent place here.

“Thank you.” A deep sonorous voice was heard from the mountain. A pair of eyes hidden in the snow appeared and looked at me warmly. It was the guardian of the mountain.

.....

I smiled back at it and bowed my head. When I straightened my body, the eyes had hid themselves in the snow again. However, the slimy sensation that I felt before I was sent here had returned. This time, I was sent back to where Putra and the other creatures were waiting.

“Took you long enough.” Putra scoffed as soon as I steadied myself on the uneven ground.

“It’s a lot harder than the one in Merapi Mountain.” I shrugged. I watched at the one who brought me back and I saw a white Yeti in the place where the ugly creature was sitting on.

“That’s its original form in human world before the portal is weakened.” Putra understood the way I was stunned in my place.

“Are you the guardian of that land?” I asked curiously.

The white Yeti nodded. There were no words, but the fact its eyes were beaming brightly was enough for me to understand that it was feeling happy for finally being free from the negative aura.

I looked towards the other creatures and wondered how they would look like if they were to be freed from the negative energy. I wondered what kind of wonderful form they had.

“Woman, you look fine for someone who claimed it was a lot harder than the previous one.” Putra’s voice reminded me that I still had to deal with the troublesome portals.

Groaning slightly, I was about to rebuke him for saying that I looked fine while I was totally aware that I felt so exhausted just a moment ago. I felt like I couldn’t even summon even a wisp of fire on one of my fingers. However, those words were swallowed back into my throat when the exhaustion from before was nowhere to be felt.

I felt perfectly fine, like I had not just done a massive project of cleaning up two big devils and a whole resort from excessive negative energy.

Not only I couldn’t feel the exhaustion, I could even feel the brand new limit for myself. I could sense that the size of my consciousness was expanding again and rush of spiritual power was filling me up.

Then, a crazy plan appeared in my head. What if I tried to take on those portals in one go? I couldn’t do it before but I certainly wanted to try it now.

I beckoned the others to walk towards me while I was taking a spot to sit down comfortably. Once I was settled, all the ugly creatures had already surrounded me.

“Woman, what are you doing?” Putra’s voice sounded nervous.

“What do you think?” I smirked before I closed my eyes.

I took a deep breath and exhaled it slowly. My mind went clearer and several streams of consciousness poked my mind. I expanded my own consciousness and took hold of theirs. Then, under their guidance, I started to ‘invade’ their consciousness and let them take me to the own places.

I was looking at different places in one go -just like when I was in the resort- only this time, I was in five different places. These creatures guided me through their lands until I found the weakened portals. Several views of different places were being shown to me; hidden in the bush, in the volcano under the sea, behind a huge rock on top of a cliff, in a cave near a sea, and in an unknown island. I really had no idea where these places were in the map.

It was truly an eye opener to experience this kind of VR. I was preparing myself to have a massive loss of power since I used it in a large scale, but I truly didn’t feel anything. Instead, I seemed to open a new door for myself and I could feel my ability was on a whole new level.

Unknown places? It wasn’t a problem once I realized what I could do with my white mist. From the white smoke, it turned into white mist. Now, it could even disintegrate into clear air yet it still maintained perfect coordination with me.

I could see everything where it reached no matter how thin it was. Even the most expensive camera and the most sophisticated city couldn’t see as detail as I could. It reminded me of a fantasy movie about dragon in which the dragon’s rider had the ability to see through the dragon’s eyes. It was so clear, only, I had a wider range.

Once I spread the mist, it was attracted to each other like magnets. In no time, I could sense my own power in the other side of the world and managed to find out where it was. All the five spots were connected by the white mist which slowly thickened and formed a big wall.

I took a deep breath. Sweat started to form on my forehead and I was a bit overwhelmed from the dizzying views of those places. Chattering of the astral creatures around the mist wall started to invade my ears. My ear drums felt like they were about to tear. It was painful to the point I gritted my teeth.

“What’s happening? What is this wall?”

“Something bad must be happening right now!”

“Hey! Wait for me!”

“Grrraaahhh!”

“Kukuku, the one who made this wall must think it can stop me. You need more than a wall to stop me!”

“Attack! Tear down the wall! Attack!”

“The humans are just right behind the wall! We’re almost there! Make a hole in this wall!”

“I think I’ve seen something like this before. When is it?”

“Rrroaaarrr!!!”

“Kill those humans! Kill them! Kill them!”

“QUIET!” I shouted in annoyance. The fire in me lit the wall rapidly. The striking red and blue danced in my eyes and those voices were silenced instantly. “One more word, and I’ll burn you to ashes.” I told them with gritted teeth.
